January 2022 kicked off and I was all ready to take on the world. I did like everyone else at the beginning of the new year and set some goals and resolutions. I got a membership at the gym. I was all set to hit my goal of losing 40 pounds. Then I got a cold and after that everything went down hill. I stopped going to the gym, I stopped following my plan of not eating past 9pm at night and I stopped exercising before I ate in the morning. I basically quit everything that I had started out doing at the beginning of the year.
I had a goal of blogging about getting healthy and getting wealthy here on the blog and I stopped doing that too. But my conscious wouldn't let me quit. I stopped and started over and over again. Then I saw this young lady on Instagram who weighed 367 pounds and now she looks like a model. I was so inspired by her growth, focus and her ability to stay on course with her health journey. I woke up at 6:29am this morning and made myself get out of the bed take a bath and go to the gym. Trust me I had to make myself go to the gym. I had not been since January. Once I got there it was pretty refreshing and I did a 45 minute workout. I felt really accomplished after my workout. Now I shared this story this morning, because I know sometimes you want to quit, even when you know how important it is for you to keep going. I hope that my story inspire you to keep moving like the young lady on Instagram. Now don't get me wrong, I know that I have to keep making myself go to the gym and focus on my health, because it's so easy to get off track. So to help keep me stay accountable, I invite you to take this health and wealth challenge with me to workout 3 days a week. Here is my schedule for working out.
