I Took A Timeout This Saturday To Hangout At Slow Pour Brewery

I try to make Saturday my day of rest.  After being in the house most of the day, I decided that I needed to go out and get some air.  I decided to go over to SlowPour Brewery located downtown Lawrenceville.  I learned about SlowPour about two years ago when I interview the founder John Allen on the show.  I'm not a beer drinker at all.  The last time I even tasted beer, I was 18 years old and I never had beer after that.  I shared this with John and he assured me that there was a craft beer out there with my name on it.  

Now I can't say that I found one with my name on it at SlowPour, but I did find one that I actually enjoyed.  I didn't think I would like it at all, but I did surprisingly.  So now I know that the next time I go, there's a beer that I can actually drink and enjoy. I loved the atmosphere of SlowPour.  I wanted to play cornholes, but someone was already playing that.  Next time we will take our own games, food and buy the beer there.

One of the things I loved about SlowPour was the family atmosphere.  My daughter was able to bring the baby who had a good time playing with the other kids that were there.  

All in all I had a nice time and look forward to going again.  It's always great to take some time and just relax and enjoy time with your family and friends.
