Yesterday Kamala Harris was scheduled to speak at the Infinite Energy Center in Gwinnett. Being that I am officially a member of the press I was able to be on the frontlines where Kamala would be speaking. Before we could get to the frontlines, we had to be searched by the dogs and secret service. Well I took the opportunity to take a picture with secret service which I thought was really cool, because he was so nice.
I think when I told him we had to take a picture it caught him and Georgette off guard, he laughed and said okay and we shot a quick selfie while the dogs was sniffing my car for guns or knives.
I know that the secret service are just law enforcements, but I feel like they are grades above our local heros. I know that the roles that they all play daily are extremely important and I respect all of the good ones and I am thankful and grateful for the work that they do.
