Councilwoman Marlene Taylor-Crawford showed off her moves for charity. She was one of the contestants at the dance competition two weeks ago. GwinnettChatt Outreach hosted their first live fundraising event and it gave the local community the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones and entertain those of us who were less talented. It was a star studded event attended by many and enjoyed by us all.

I've been on Amazon selling my books for a long time now. Recently I became an Amazon Influencer which will add another stream of income to my company's bottom line. Amazon offers entrepreneurs to either start a business by just leveraging Amazon or implement Amazon into their existing business.
On Tuesday the Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce hosting its' monthly Business Connections and Brunch where I will be sharing information about my new adventure as an Amazon Influencer and other ways I leverage Amazon to help me grow my business and how you can do the same thing. This is a 2 hour event that will leave you a new outlook on Amazon other than just a place to go and buy stuff. Greater Eastside Chamber Of Commerce presents the 4th annual Back 2 School drive. Grayson City Hall 475 Grayson Parkway Grayson, GA 30017 Dancing Stars Of Gwinnett was a hit. The event was so wonderfully planned. If there were any glitches we the audience didn't see it. It's been a minute since I had such a wonderful time. The evening started out with networking and delicious hors d’oeuvres catered by Proof Of The Pudding Catering. I must have eaten 12 of the spicy peppers stuffed with goat cheese. They were delicious to me. After of about an hour of that we moved inside the theater where the event kicked off. The songs and the dancing was so nice. I felt like I was live on an episode of Dancing With The Stars. Many of the contestants had never danced before and wanted to participate with this event because of all the great work Ryan Cox and his team are doing at Gwinnett Chatt Outreach. Ryan Cox is the Founder of Gwinnett Chatt Outreach. He was born and raised in Chattanooga Tennessee, hence the “Chatt” in the name of the organization. He tries to hold on to his Tennessee roots here and there. In moving to Georgia years ago, and living in Gwinnett County for over 10 years; Ryan has grown a passion for Gwinnett County and its residents. As a resident of the county, Ryan began to notice a social justice gap within the communities of Gwinnett. Ryan is not one to play the blame game, he took action by volunteering, continuing to vote, attending local government meetings, and launching Gwinnett Chatt Outreach. He is continuously looking for creative ways to make a difference in his community, and bridge the social injustice gap. As the founder of Gwinnett Chatt Outreach, Ryan’s goal is to help Gwinnett communities be healthy, well cared for, informed, and thriving. Ryan partners with community leaders, businesses, and the community itself; to develop and conduct public service programs. Ryan’s shared passion for Gwinnett County and the well-being of all its residents, is an extension of who Ryan is at his core. Some of the contestants that I recognized were Lawrenceville Councilman Austin Thompson, who was a judge, JT Wu, BT Parker, Councilwoman Marlene Taylor Crawford, Daphanie Forte, Catherine Hardrick and Dr. Tarece Johnson. Dr. Johnson actually came in first place in the competition, while Catherine came in second and Marlene came in third. In my opinion everyone who competed in the competition was a winner, because they danced from their heart to support the organization. Money from the event will go to purchasing a van, so that Ryan and his team will be able to take the young men and women on field trips. So, you see they are all winners. Getting Ready For Next Year I don't know if Ryan is planning on making this an annual event and I hope they do, but people are already planning on being contestants next year and I'm planning on being a sponsor for the event. This was really a nice event and I know next year will be bigger and better. Heck they may even have to move the event to Gas South. Whatever the case, I'm looking forward to it. This event is hosted by Gwinnett Chatt Outreach. We are so excited to be able to support Gwinnett Chat and have a wonderful evening at the same time. Gwinnett has its' own version of Dancing With The Stars. Our version is The Dancing Stars of Gwinnett. Anytime we can support our youth, we will do so.
